Our Love Story
Su Min
Bride
I’ll be honest — when I first met Richard, I was not impressed.
I almost didn’t even go out that night because I was exhausted from work, and when I finally showed up, he came off a little too cool for my taste. We barely spoke, and I left thinking I’d never give him a second thought.
But the next time we met, something shifted. Sitting across from him, I noticed his shy laugh, the way he quietly reacted to my jokes, and this unexpectedly sweet side I hadn’t seen before.
What really changed everything was the night we stayed up talking until sunrise. Between the laughter, effortless conversation, and the fact that he somehow ended up doing the dishes at my apartment, I realized there was so much more to him than that first impression.
Somewhere between late-night talks, Nintendo games, and two guarded hearts slowly opening, Richard quietly became my favorite person.
Funny how the person I almost overlooked became the one I couldn’t imagine life without.

Groom
The first time I met Su, I honestly thought I’d probably never see her again.
She joined our group through mutual friends, looked like she absolutely did not want to be there, and sat as far away from me as possible. On my way out, I even joked, “I’ll probably never see you again.”
Turns out, I was very wrong.
The next time I saw her, everything was different. She walked in full of energy, laughter, and the kind of presence that naturally draws everyone in. The more we talked, the more I realized we shared the same humor, and I immediately wanted to know her better.
What changed everything was our first real date, when we spent hours talking and eventually fell asleep on the couch. From that moment on, it all felt easy — like we had known each other much longer than we actually had.
Somewhere between the laughter and all of our terrible jokes, I knew she was someone special.
What started as an unexpected hello became the beginning of forever.
Gifting
Your presence at our celebration is the greatest gift of all.
For those who wish to give, we've set up a honeymoon fund in lieu of a traditional registry. Any contribution toward our adventures ahead means more than we can say.
